It was on the radio again today. And like every single time I have heard it over the past week, it brought a tear to my eye.

It may be over but it won't stop there,

You changed my life and all my goals.

Yesterday, in one breath you were mine, and then you were not. We were so close, yet so far; almost there and almost not.

Yesterday I heard you cry for the umpteenth time. It broke my heart for the umpteenth time. Because I want so much for you to be happy. As much as I want you by my side, I also accept that you belong with your family - because that is where you are happiest. And that is what I want for you.
