long day

Today the day felt like it would never end. It would have been nightfall on any other day, but today was different. It seemed like the day was not ready to give in to night. I wished it would not.

It was a first date of sorts. Appropriately, Date Movie was our date movie. The show was not great but I was not really watching. Right there at the end when you held my hand, I cursed the stupid movie for not lasting a little longer.

There was dinner too. Again, I was not really paying attention.
